Our Blood Clot Story – Nobody is Immune

March is Blood Clot Awareness month, which makes for an ideal time to spread awareness on this medical condition. In 2013, my husband experienced a life-threatening Pulmonary Embolism. He doesn’t have a clotting disorder, nor did he exhibit any of the other factors to make him a high-risk candidate; nevertheless, he developed two blood clots. I’m sharing his story to help raise awareness to the risks of blood clots. Nobody is immune from getting one and everyone should know the symptoms and practice blood clot prevention when traveling. And to be very clear, the decision is less about the kid's age and more about the parent's expectations. We took our daughter to Disneyland when she was 3 1/2. Yellowstone Lodging

Yellowstone National Park is the oldest and, in my opinion, the best national park within the continental United States. The stunning scenery is breathtaking, the wildlife are massive and abundant, and the geological history is simply fascinating. The best way to maximize your time is to book a room within Yellowstone National Park. Keep in mind, in park lodging options are highly desirable during the summer months. In fact, these lodgings are so popular that if you would like to stay next summer, I recommend you make reservations NOW as they are already booking for 2018 and even 2019. Here

The hotel's location makes it ideal for travelers stranded at the airport, or those with a very early morning flight, like us! For our trip to Cabo, Mexico, we had an early morning flight. Meaning we all had to be up and ready to go before 4:00 AM. Which is UGH early, in my opinion!! Since we had heard really great things about the Westin at Denver International Airport, we decided to check into a pre-night stay. The rates were high, but we combined our
