Fairy Tale Tea Party

Featuring Adagio Teas

  • 175

On this cold and snowy Colorado Sunday, we hosted a family Fairy Tale Tea Party and it couldn’t have been cuter {or more fun}!  As everyone knows, the Travel + Family crew are huge Disney fans, so when the good people at Adagio Teas sent us the Fairy Tale tea collection to test out, we just knew we had to use these teas for a fun a tea party!

Fairy Tale Tea Collection

First of all, let’s talk about these adorably themed fairy tale teas. I am a sucker for themes. I especially love cleverly themed items and I think the Adagio Teas really achieved cleverness with this theme. The Fairy Tale tea collection came in three different flavors and arrived in beautiful tea tins.

Snow White Tea: Apple tea, with hints of hibiscus, coconut and cherry.

Cinderella Tea: Pumpkin flavored tea, with hints of spice, cinnamon, and apples.

Sleeping Beauty Tea: Chamomile tea, with hints of honey brush, rosehips, apples, peach, and rose.

Fairy Tale Tea Party

Did you make a connection with the tea ingredients to the princess for which it was named after? So cute, right?!

All three teas were caffeine free and completely delicious. We thought the Sleeping Beauty tea was the best. I actually caught my husband sneaking a 2nd tea bag all for himself.

Note: They have TONS of other princess-themed teas. Visit their website to find a tea themed after your favorite Disney princess!

Fairy Tale Tea Party Food

Sweet Pea and I baked sugar cookies in the semi-homemade fashion; we bought the cookie mix, but baked and decorated the cookies at home. There is a time and place for 100% made-from-scratch cookies and today was just not that day! Our cookies did not turn out perfect, but they were fun to make and delicious!

A Fairy Tale Tea Party

“Perfection is replaced with memories when baking with kids.”

In addition to the cookies, we served strawberries and a few different cheeses. In my opinion, you cannot go wrong with cheese.

The Fairy Tale Tea Party

The tea party was held on a cold and snowy day – so the guests of honor included Sweet Pea and Hubs (aka dad). Sweet Pea wore her pink princess dress and dad donned his matching pink shirt.

They ate, they sipped, they laughed {she groaned at his dad jokes}, and they looked flipping adorable.

This post featured complementary teas from Adagio Teas. The teas were free, however, our opinion on the taste and quality was not swayed by the complementary nature of the product. We loved them! 1. This is adorable! I love that the tea ingredients so closely relate to each princess story. So clever! It looks like everyone had a great time.

    P. S. You are so right! When baking with children, perfection is replaced with fun memories. I am going to remember that quote (or maybe repeat it as a mantra next time I attempt to cook with my children).

    1. That’s awesome! My daughter will sip them, but not dedicate herself to a cup yet. She did like the Sleeping Beauty brand of this tea. It was very mild and super soothing.

    1. My daughter had a lot of fun – even though it was just my husband and her. She felt like it was a special day, which is what I was hoping for.
